Meatballs: Ground Beef
Meatballs are our all-time favorites. Several processes like frying, steaming, baking, or braising in the sauce can be followed to prepare tender and juicy meatballs. This recipe follows the deep frying method. It also uses veal and pork along with ground beef.
Ground beef: 1 pound
Veal: ½ pound (ground)
Pork: ½ pound (ground)
Garlic: 2 cloves (minced)
Romano cheese: 1 cup (freshly grated)
Italian flat-leaf parsley: 1 ½ tablespoon (chopped)
Italian bread: 2 cups (crumbled)
Lukewarm water: 1 ½ cups
Olive oil: 1 cup
Salt: to taste
Black pepper (ground): to taste
In a large bowl, add ground beef, pork, and veal. Combine these well. To this mixture, add eggs, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and cheese. Mix all the ingredients with your hands. Now, add the bread crumbs and combine them. When the dough forms into a tight texture, start adding water and mix it into the dough. You need to add ½ teaspoon water at a time. After adding water, the mixture will be moist enough, and yet it will hold its shape when shaped into balls. Now, shape the dough into small meatballs.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Fry the meatballs until they are deep brown. The perfect meatballs should be crisp at the outside and tender from inside. Once they are fried, place them on a paper towel by draining the oil. While frying, if you notice that the meatballs are too wet, you need to cover the skillet so that they hold their shapes better.
Italian Casserole: Ground Beef

Rigatoni pasta: 1 pound
Ground beef: 1 pound
Italian sausage: 1 pound
Mushrooms: 1 can (drained)
Spaghetti sauce: 2 jars
Mozzarella cheese: 1 ½ pound (shredded)
Pepperoni: thinly sliced
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C. In a large saucepan, add water and bring it to boil. Add salt and rigatoni pasta. Let it cook for 8-10 minutes or until slightly tender. Drain water and set the pasta aside. Now, cook the ground beef and sausage in a large skillet over medium heat. Break it using a spatula. Take a baking dish and add the meat at the bottom.
